Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The test substance was assessed for toxicity to aquatic invertebrates according to OECD guideline 202. Microscopic observations performed on the immobilised daphnids showed no undissolved test substance adhered to the carapace. It was therefore considered that physical effects were not a factor. After 24 hours a 50% response on the mobility of the Daphnia magna was not reached therefore the 24-hour EC50 value could not be determined. After 48 hours, the concentration at which no significant (≤10%) dose related immobility occurred was 0.053 mg/L. The NOEC was considered to be 0.053 mg/L. After 48 hours 90% immobility was recorded at the highest treatment level tested of 0.48 mg/L. In terms of time-weighted mean measured concentrations the 48-hour EC50 value was determined to be 0.21 mg/L.
