Description of key information

surface tension (1 g/L, 20°C): 48.9 mN/m

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Surface tension:
48.9
in mN/m at 20°C and concentration in mg/L:
1 000

Additional information

In the Klimisch 1 non-GLP study from Kintrup (2012) the surface tension of Sodium di(1.3-dimethylbutyl) sulfosuccinate was determined according to test method EEC A.5 with the ring method at 20 °C and a concentration of 1 g/L to be 48.9 mN/m.

The result is considered acceptable for the risk assessment
