In accordance with Column 2 of REACH Annex VIII, the hydrolysis study (required in Section 9.2.2.1 of the REACH regulation) does not need to be conducted as the substance has no hydrolysable structural features and would be expected to be stable in water. Oxidation would not be expected under normal environmental conditions. In addition, the substance is predicted to be readily biodegradable.
