Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Endpoint:
dissociation constant
Type of information:
experimental study
Adequacy of study:
key study
Study period:
2010
Reliability:
2 (reliable with restrictions)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
guideline study
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
OECD Guideline 112 (Dissociation Constants in Water)
Deviations:
no
GLP compliance:
no
Other quality assurance:
other: study performed in compliance with ISO 9001
Dissociating properties:
no
Remarks on result:
other: not detectable

No evaluation possible

The resulting suspension was titrated with NaOH respectively HCl standard solution, measuring the pH during the titration. No evaluable inflexion point was found

Conclusions:
The pKa of test substance is not detectable: the test substance does not have any dissociation constant.

Description of key information

not detectable

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The pKa of the substance could not be determined experimentally. The pKa values were calculated to be 15.45, 4.89, -0.87 and -19.65 at 25°C (ACD/pKa, version 12.00; Advanced Chemistry Development, Inc: 2008)
