Additional information

The substance 5 -methylheptan-3 -one does not contain any functional groups identified in the UN recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods, Manual of Tests and Criteria, Appendix 6, Table A6.1, as being associated with explosive properties.

Justification for classification or non-classification

The substance is not considered explosive as the substance does not contain functional groups associated with explosive properties. Therefore the substance is not classified as explosive under 67/548/EEC.

Given the lack of functional groups indicating explosive properties, this substance does not meet the criteria for classification under Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008.
