Additional information

Short-term toxicity data for Reaction mass of 2-(3,4-dimethyl-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)succinic acid and 2-(4,5-dimethyl-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)succinic acid are available for the three trophic levels fish, aquatic invertebrates and algae. No effects were observed in any of the studies up to and including the highest tested concentration (100 mg/L). In both available long-term studies for invertebrates and algae, the NOEC values were clearly above 1 mg/L.

The toxicity of the substance to aquatic microorganisms was determined based on the ready biodegradability study. As biodegradation above 35% was observed in the toxicity control with 40 mg/L test substance, the substance is expected to have low toxicity to aquatic microorganisms.
