Key value for chemical safety assessment

Oxidising properties:
no

Additional information

As the test substance contains chlorine and oxygen atoms that are only bound to carbon, it was concluded that the substance will not exhibit oxidising properties. As a result, and according to Regulation (EC) N0. 1907/2006, Annex VII, 7.13, column 2, testing for this endpoint was considered unnecessary based on the chemical structure.Hence, no study on oxidising properties was conducted.

Justification for classification or non-classification

As the test substance contains chlorine and oxygen atoms that are bound only to carbon, the substance is supposed to be devoid of oxidising properties. Accordingly, the test substance is not classified as an oxidising substance as defined in the current EU-CLP regulation.
