Conclusion on classification

The registered substance fulfills the classification criteria for hazardous to the aquatic environment (category 2) listed in the Classification, Labelling, and Packaging (CLP) regulation (1272/2008) based upon the most sensitive species (Daphnia magna). The 72 hour EC50 for Daphnia magna was 1.6 and the 72 hour NOEC was 0.86. The registered substance is not readily biodegradable, although although it does possess a Log Pow <4 (3.09).
