Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

A first test has been performed in 2010 but due to physical problems during the test, accurate determination of the endpoints was not possible. Therefore, the test has been repeated in 2011. Based on all endpoints, the NOEC for this substance was 0.37 mg/L.

Additional information

Test was conducted according to approved guidelines with GLP accreditation with deviations reported and justified. A certificate of analysis was present and chemical analysis in keeping with the bulk approach was conducted with a validated analytical method. Validity criteria and guideline reccomendations for a valid test were met and the quality criteria set in the study plan for the chemical analysis were met. the exposure of the test organisms to the test chemical was in keeping with the bulk approach and use of nominal concentrations for endpoint calculations is justified. The data generated in this study can be considered an accurate representation of the chronic toxic effects of the test substance to Daphnia magna in the concentration range tested. Based on all endpoints the NOEC for this substance is 0.37 mg/L. Due to no partial responses occurring an accurate EC10 could not be determined. This may be reported as > 0.37 mg/L and < 1.2 mg/L. Interpolation between these two endpoints was not considered accurate.
