The substance is not readily biodegradable. Concerning the low 48 -hour EC50 value of 8.58 mg/L for freshwater invertebrates (Daphnia magna) the substance has to be classified as “Hazardous to the aquatic environment (long-term) – Aquatic Chronic 2" and with Hazard statement "H411: Toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects”.
