The kinematic viscosity of the test material has been determined to be 24024 mm2/s at 20°C, using the Ubbelohde viscometer (DIN 51562). A reliability rating of 1 was assigned to this (key) study, according to the criteria of Klimisch, 1997 as the study was conducted in accordance with national standard methods and described in sufficient detail; hence, the study is considered reliable and adequate for assessment.
A further experimentally determined kinematic viscosity value at 40°C has been provided as a supporting study, using the standard test method for dynamic viscosity and density of liquids by Stabinger Viscometer (and the calculation of kinematic viscosity), Method ASTM D 7042 (equivalent to ISO 3104 / ASTM D445): 1766 mm2/s at 40°C.
