Description of key information

The results of the key GLP study, which is appropriate for the assessment of ready biodegradability show that the substance is readily biodegradable.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Biodegradation in water:
readily biodegradable

Additional information

In valid GLP study according to OECD 301 B, the substance is readily biodegradable: Average 77% were mineralized within 28 days.

The result of fast biodegradation is supported by a Klimisch 3 study (OECD 302 B, Zahn-Wellens/EMPA test), which demonstrates inherent biodegradation, since 72% DOC were eliminated within 21 days of exposure and 63% within 4 days.
