Description of key information

A 96-hour acute toxicity study according to EU Method C.1 and OCED Guideline 203 Acute Toxicity for Fish was carried out. Rainbow trout (Salmo Gairdneri) were exposed to nominal concentrations of 100, 55.6, 30.9, 17.2 and 9.5 mg/L. The LC50 determined was between 55.6 mg/L and 100 mg/L. The NOEC- and LOEC-values were determined < 9.5 mg/L and <= 9.5 mg/L, respectively. The analytical results show that the concentration of test item in the fish tank water ranged between 84.6 % and 92.9 % of the target test concentration at the start of the test and between 76.4 % and 77.2 % after 96 hours.
