Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The results of an OECD 111 GLP test showed that substance is hydrolytically stable at pH 4, 7, and 9 with a t1/2 > 1 year

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Half-life for hydrolysis:
1 yr
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

The purpose of this study was to determine if the test substance would hydrolyze at environmentally relevant pH values, complying with the OECD Guideline No. 111.

Both quantified components of the test substance showed less than 10% hydrolysis after 5 days for pH value 4 and 7. For these pH values the test substance was considered to be hydrolytically stable and no further testing was carried out. For pH 9 more than 10% hydrolysis was observed after 5 days and additional testing (Tier 2) was carried out.

In Tier 2 for pH value 9, at all tested temperatures, 12, 20 and 50 ± 0.5°C, less than 10% hydrolysis was observed. Based on the results for the half-lives at all tested temperatures, being all more than 1 year, the test substance is considered to be hydrolytically stable
