First-aid measures
INHALATION : Remove to fresh air. If any breathing difficulty or discomfort develops or recurs obtain medical attention
INGESTION : Immediately give a couple of glasses of water or milk, provided the victim is fully conscious. DO NOT induce vomiting. Get medical attention immediately.
SKIN : Remove contaminated clothing. Wash skin thoroughly with soap and water. Get medical attention if any discomfort continues.
EYES : Rinse the eye with water immediately. Continue to rinse for at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention if any discomfort continues.
Fire-fighting measures
EXTINGUISHING MEDIA : Water mist/foam/CO2/dry *all acceptable*
SPECIAL FIRE FIGHTING PROCEDURES : Keep up-wind to avoid fumes. Cool containers exposed to flames with water until well after the fire is out.
HAZARDOUS COMBUSTION PRODUCTS : Fire or high temperatures create: Toxic gases/vapors/fumes of: Carbon dioxide (CO2). Carbon monoxide (CO). Bromine. Hydrogen bromide (HBr).
PROTECTIVE MEASURES IN FIRE : Use self-contained breathing apparatus

PERSONAL PRECAUTION IN SPILL : Wear appropriate PPE
SPILL CLEANUP METHODS : Ensure no materials enters drains or water course. Contain and absorb onto sand or earth. Place in marked container and dispose of as solid waste in accordance with local waste disposal regulations.

STORAGE PRECAUTIONS : Keep in cool, dry, ventilated storage and closed containers. Store at temperature not greater than 4°C.

Exposure controls / personal protection
USAGE PRECAUTIONS : Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Do not inhale vapour. The work area should be adequately ventilated.
PROTECTIVE GLOVES : Butyl rubber.
EYE PROTECTION : Safety glasses or goggles. Provide eyewash station and safety shower. Wear appropriate clothing to prevent any possibility of skin contact.
OTHER PROTECTION : Eating, drinking and smoking should be prohibited in the work area. Store away from food and foodstuffs.
HYGIENIC WORK PRACTICES : Work in accordance with good industrial practice of the chemical industry.

Dispose of in accordance with local, regional, national and international legislation.
