Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The toxicity of the test substance on terrestrial plants was tested in a GLP study according to OECD guideline 208 [BASF AG, 2001]. This OECD 208 guideline is designed to assess the potential effects of substances on seedling emergence and growth. Therefore, it is specific to a part of the plants life-cycle and does not cover chronic effects on reproduction, however it is assumed to cover a sensitive stage in the life-cycle of a plant and therefore data obtained from this study have been used as estimates of chronic toxicity [ECHA, Guidance on information requirements and chemical safety assessment, chapter R.7c].

Emergence and growths on oats (Avena sativa), oilseed rape (Brassica napus) and vetch (Vicia sativa) were determined. The most sensitive acute EC50 value (19 d) was 794 mg/kg soil (d.w.) for Avena sativa. No chronic effects were observed up to a test concentration of 250 mg/kg soil (d.w.).
