Additional information

A study was conducted to determine the acute toxicity of the substance to Daphnia magna according to OECD Guideline 202. Groups of twenty daphnids were exposed to the substance at nominal concentrations of 0.625, 1.25, 2.5, 5 and 10 mg/L under static conditions for 48 hours. Test substance concentrations were measured in samples taken from the test solutions at test start and end. Observations of mortality were made at 24 and 48 hours of exposure. Under the study conditions, the measured 48 h EC50 of the substance in Daphnia magna was determined to be 2.94 mg/L (equivalent to 2.90 mg a.i./L) (Jenkins, 1995).
