Description of key information
The partition coefficient of HHCB has been determined as log P = 5.3 at 25°C using the slow stirring method in this published study.

The log Kow of HHCB was found to be 5.3 at 25 °C and a pH of circa 7 in a non-GLP study according to Brooke et al., 1986 using a slow-stirring method. A value of 5.9 at 25 °C was reported in a GLP study according to OECD guideline 117 using the HPLC method, but as the method used is not optimally suited for this substance, this study is considered a supporting study.
