If swallowed, rinse mouth with water (only if the person is conscious). Call for a doctor immediately.

Fire-fighting measures

- Suitable extinguishing media:

Carbon dioxide, Dry chemical, Water spray

- Unsuitable extinguishing media:

Not known

- Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:

Formation of toxic gases is possible during heating or in case of fire.

- Advice for fire fighter: Wear protective goggles and wear a self-contained respiratory protective device. Cool endangered receptacles with water spray. Collect contaminated fire fighting water separately. It must not enter the sewage system.

Accidental release measures

- Personal precautions: Protective equipment and emergency procedures:

Wear protective equipment. Keep unprotected persons away. Ensure adequate ventilation. Keep away from ignition sources. Avoid breathing dust/fume/vapours. Prevent spilled material from making contact with eyes, skin and clothing.  Use respiratory protective device against the effects of fumes/dust/aerosol. Use Protective gloves

- Environmental precautions:

Do not allow to penetrate the ground/soil. Collect contaminated fire fighting water separately. It must not enter the sewage system.

- Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Dispose of the material collected according to regulations. Remove combustible materials.

Handling and storage

- Precautions for safe handling:

Ensure adequate ventilation. Do not breathe vapour. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Be sure to clean skin thoroughly after work and before breaks. Keep away from foodstuffs, beverages and feed. Immediately remove all soiled and contaminated clothing. Wash hands before breaks and at the end of work. Do not eat, drink, smoke or sniff while working. Keep ignition sources away - Do not smoke

- Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities: Keep away from heat, spark and flame. Protect from heat and direct sunlight. Store in dry conditions. Keep container tightly sealed. Store away from oxidising agents.
