First-aid measures

- General advice:

Avoid repeated exposure especially for those people who have suffered from sensitization effects to this kind of substance and/or persons who are sensitive to chemicals.

- Following inhalation:

Call a poison centre or doctor if you feel unwell.

- Following skin contact:

Wash with plenty of soap and water. If irritation occurs get medical advice/attention.

- Following eye contact:

Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. If eye irritation persists get medical advice/attention.

- Following ingestion:

 Rinse mouth. Do not induce vomiting. Get medical advice/attention if you feel unwell.

- Most important symptoms and effects: Skin irritation and serious eye damage. In case the product is ingested and entered into the airway, there may be a hazard causing chemical pneumonia.

Fire-fighting measures

- Suitable extinguishing media:

Dry chemical powder, bubble extinguisher and carbon dioxide.

- Unsuitable extinguishing media:

- Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: The product is a flammable liquid. Toxic and irritating vapours and/or gases may generate by thermal decomposition or combustion.

- Advice for fire fighter: Move container to a safe area. Fire fighters should wear appropriate personal protective equipment. Non-responsible personnel should escape from the fire site.

Accidental release measures

- Personal precautions: Remove ignition sources and provide sufficient ventilation to control exposure. Take action from wind. In case of emergency, contact responsible personnel and consult an expert. Evacuate non-responsible personnel from spilled area.

- Protective equipment and emergency procedures:

Wear appropriate protective equipment and collect spilled product by suitable equipment.

- Environmental precautions:

Do not dump into the environment.

- Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Absorb spilled product with inert material (e.g., paper or dry sand), followed by placing it in a waste container until disposal. Provide sufficient ventilation to keep air concentration as low as possible.

Handling and storage

- Precautions for safe handling:

keep out of reach of children. Wash contaminated work clothing before reuse. Do not eat or drink when handling. No smoking. Avoid disposal of and/or spill the product into sewer and/or drain.

- Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities: Store container tightly closed in well-ventilated place. Keep away from hot surfaces, open flame, direct sunlight and strong oxidiser.

Exposure controls / personal protection

1. Technical protection measures: Handle the product only under conditions where sufficient ventilation is provided and/or in a closed system

2. Organisational protection measures: Avoid accumulation of vapours by providing adequate ventilation during and after use.
