Description of key information

The key value is identified in on OECD 222 long-term study with Earthworms. The effect concentration is calculated on the observed effects on reproduction. Effects on survival or weight were not observed.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Long-term EC10, LC10 or NOEC for soil macroorganisms:
19.1 mg/kg soil dw

Additional information

Xing et al. (2017) investigated the effects of single and combined exposure of 1H-Benzotriazole and Copper on Eisenia fetida. For the single exposure with 1H_Benzotriazol the LC50,7d 2.43 mmol/kg and LC50,14d 1.76 mmol/kg were found. These results support the findings of the OECD study.
