Description of key information
The minimal available data are insufficient to make any assessments regarding the potential immunotoxicity of Ni sulphate.
Nickel bis (dihydrogen phosphate) is a highly water soluble inorganic substance similar to Nickel sulphate (EC-No: 232-104-9). As there are only marginal data and studies available for Nickel bis(dihydrogen phosphate) on ecotoxicity, fate and human toxicity the Nickel sulphate data (and data of other Nickel compounds with comparable water solubility and the same effect releasing Nickel ion) are used for read-across.
Studies marked as read-across without mentioning the testing material are performed with Nickel sulphate (NiSO4).
