First-aid measures

Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. In case of symptom of ill-health, consult a doctor. The symptoms may appear after several days.

Skin contact: Wash with soap and water.

Eye contact: Irrigate with copious amounts of low-pressure water. If irritation persists seek medical attention.

Ingestion: Rinse mouth with water. If swallowed, induce vomiting under medical supervision.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media: Carbon dioxide, foam or dry chemical.

Fire and explosive properties: The material is not combustible.

Protective equipment for fire fighters: Self-contained breathing apparatus with full-face piece.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions: Do not inhale fumes or dust. Use personal protective equipment.

Waste measures: Vacuum or sweep up spillage. Collect and put in marked container for disposal. Avoid generating dust.  Avoid discharge to drainage.

Handling and storage

Handling: Handle lead material in such a way, that distribution of dust is minimized. Use proper industrial hygiene. Do not inhale fumes or dust.

Storage: No special precautions
