Additional information

Propylene dinonanoate (CAS 41395-83-9) is assumed to bear very low water solubility. Furthermore the substance has a very low vapor pressure (1.4E-5 Pa at 20 °C, SPARC v4.6) and a moderate to high adsorption potential (log Koc: 4.31 and 5.05, at 25 °C). If released to the environment the substance is expected to mainly partition to organic matter such as sediment and soil particles as well as activated sludge in sewage treatment plants due to its high potential for adsorption. Evaporation and the subsequent transport via the atmospheric compartment is not expected due to the low vapour pressure.
