The relative density of Ytterbium trinitrate was determined to be 2.621±0.002 at 21.8 °C.

An experimental study of reliability 1 according to Klimisch, performed in compliance with GLP and according to EU method A.3 and OECD Guideline 109 using gas comparison pycnometer, was selected as a key study.

Although the test was not performed at 20 °C but at 21.8°C, the relatively small temperature difference is not considered to influence the density of a solid material to a significant extent.
