Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

As anticipated, during testing for the physical chemical properties of water solubility and the partition coefficient, the test material was difficult to test and analyse in aqueous conditions. Organometallic UVCB substances are difficult to analyse using standard methods, and in this case, were derivatised to enable extraction and analysis. However, these methods proved to have limited accuracy, which can be observed through the range of recovery in these tests. As such the values presented are expected to be a worst-case scenario for risk assessment.

Ecotoxocity testing of this material was subsequently performed by dosing as water accommodated fraction (WAF) based on experience with this material and other substances within this category and necessitated by the results of the partition coefficient and water solubility studies discussed in this section.
