Additional information

Although the substance is a yellow/red, odourless solid at 20°C and 1013 hPa; as put on the market it is in a glycol solvent mixture and water. No melting point of the test substance was determined, but the colour of the test item changed from yellow to orange and rose up the capillary. At 300°C, no test item remained in the capillary, indicating decomposition and sublimation. The solid test substance is non-flammable and showed no self-ignition reaction up to a temperature of 400°C. No flash point was obtained up to a reflux temperature of 97.9°C for the test substance as placed on the market. The solid test substance has a relative density of 1.716 at 20°C and an estimated vapour pressure of <10e-6 Pa at 20°C. The log Kow for the active substance in the solid test material is 1.35. The solid test substance has an estimated water solubility of 107 mg/L and a surface tension of 15.7 mN/M at 20°C. Based on an evaluation of its structure, the test substance is predicted to contain neither explosive nor oxidative properties.
