First-aid measures

Eyes: In case of contact with eyes rinse thoroughly with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
Skin: Immediately and thoroughly, wash off with soap and water.
Ingestion: Thoroughly clean the mouth with water. Call for medical advice immediately.
Inhalation: Ensure supply of fresh air.
General: Remove soiled or soaked clothing immediately.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Foam, Carbon dioxide, dry powder, water spray.

Protective equipment: Self-contained breathing apparatus.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Use appropriate personal protection (working clothing, goggles, face shield and suitable gloves).
Do not discharge into soil. Take up mechanically. Clean up affected area with water. Collect and dispose any contaminated material (e.g. cleaning water) according to the regulations.
Disposal substance waste according to the regulations.

Storage: Keep in a cool, well-ventilated place.
The substance shall be stored or transported in closed containments. The exhaust air from the containers/barrels shall be directed to a waste gas disposal system, to the extent required by the steam pressure and hazardous material properties. The containments shall stored in authorised areas (shelving, sump pallets, cabinets). Technical measures to prevent/limit emissions shall be installed.

Disposal considerations

- Product : In accordance with local authority regulations, take to special waste incineration plant
- Contaminated packaging : If empty contaminated containers are recycled or disposed of, the receiver must be informed about possible hazards.
- All liquids, solids and gaseous waste streams that result from production and processing, including the drums used, are discarded according to the applicable expert and legal provisions. Waste water, and waste air and gases contaminated with the substance are directed to a processing plant, if necessary.
