medical attention.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Flush affected eye(s) with copious amounts of water, for at
least 15 minutes. Seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash affected area with
copious amounts of water, for at least 15 minutes. If
irritation persists seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: As appropriate for underlying cause of fire (e.g. carbon
dioxide, foam or dry chemical).

Product arising from burning: Carbon monoxide

Carbon dioxide

Silica (trace quantities only after complete combustion)

Small amounts of formaldehyde may be formed on heating below
ignition temperature.

Product determined by test: N

Protective equipment: Standard fire-fighting equipment should be used, including
self-contained breating apparatus.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Soak up spill with an inert absorbent substance. Store in
partly filled closed containers for disposal. Rubber or
plastic gloves to BS 1651 should be worn, along with safety
spectacles or goggles to BS 2092. Partly filled containers
are recommended as anerobic materials are stabilised by air
preventing polymerisation).

Handling and storage

Handling: Avoid skin contact. Rubber or plastic gloves to BS 1651
should be worn. Safety spectacles or goggles to BS 2092
should also be worn. Use in a well ventilated place.

Storage: Store at below 110F in sealed, unbreakable containers, away
from strong oxidisers.

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: The substance will be packaged in 300 ml cartridges or 5
gallon pails.
