Description of key information

Rate of biodegradation appears to be limited at least in part by the ability to dissolve in water.  Screening studies were not possible to perform, but instead, higher level soil and sediment studies have been performed using radiolabelled material

The substance is considered to degrade rapidly with a half life under 2 days in sediments and under 10 days in most soil types

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Biodegradation in water:
not biodegradable
Type of water:
freshwater
