Key result
Flash point:
ca. 130 °C
Atm. press.:
101.3 kPa
Remarks on result:
no flash point according to standard method

No flash point was observed at temperatures up to 100 °C. Therefore testing was continued up to 130°C using 4g test item and applying the test flame at intervals of 2°C temperature rise. No flash point was recorded at temperatures up to 130 °C.

Interpretation of results:
GHS criteria not met
Conclusions:
Using the Setaflash closed cup Method for flash point analysis, a flash point for the test substance was not identified up to 130°C, thus the flash point is > 130°C for "Stearic acid, monoester with propane-1,2-diol" (PGMS).
Executive summary:

The test substance was analysed in accordance to EC Method A.9 and EPA/OCSPP 830.6315, (ISO 9001). Determination of Flash Point - Setaflash Closed Cup Method. A flash point was not identified up to 130°C, thus the flash point is > 130°C for the UVCB substance " Stearic acid, monoester with propane-1,2-diol" (PGMS).
