-Inhaled BeO relatively persistent in lungs
-Translocated BeO was primarily found in skeleteon, tracheobronchial lymph nodes, skeleton, liver and blood.
-Excretion of BeO was primarily in the feces at early timepoints and urine later (> 6 months).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Bioaccumulation potential:
high bioaccumulation potential

Additional information

One study available. This study was found reliable and established basic parameters on excretion and distibution following inhalation of BeO.
