The partition coefficient of test substance, Acid Black 210, is: log Pow =–1.73.

Conclusions:
The partition coefficient of the tested substance Acid Black 210, is logPow= -1.73
Executive summary:

The partition coefficient n-octanol/wtaer of Acid Black 210 was assessed following EU A8, by shake flask method and spectrophotometric determination of the concentrations in water and n-octanol.

The log Pow is equal to -1.73

Additional information

A study was performed on Acid Black 210, following EU A8 by shake flask method (Stahl, 1996). The summary available is lacking of many information and therefore the test is used as supporting test.  The log Kow at 25°C is equal to -3.1.

Another study, used as key study, (Michal Bartos, 2011) was performed on Acid Black 210 according to EU method A.8.  At pH 8.6 the log Kow is equal to -1.73.
