- Endpoint:
- relative density
- Type of information:
- experimental study
- Adequacy of study:
- key study
- Study period:
- November 11, 2009-November 21, 2011
- Reliability:
- 1 (reliable without restriction)
- Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
- test procedure in accordance with generally accepted scientific standards and described in sufficient detail
- Qualifier:
- according to guideline
- Guideline:
- EU Method A.3 (Relative Density)
- GLP compliance:
- no
- Type of method:
- pycnometer method
- Type:
- relative density
- Density:
- ca. 1.286
- Temp.:
- 20 °C
- Conclusions:
- The relative density of the substance ( measured at 20°C and related to the density of water at 4°C) is 1.286
- Executive summary:
The relative density of Acid Black 210 was calculated from the ratio of weights and known volumes following the pycnometer method (Gay-Lussac pycnometers) at 20°C. The result related to the density of the water at 4°C is 1.286

Additional information
A study was performed on Acid Black 210 at 20°C according to method EU A3 (Stahl, 1996). The summary available is lacking of many information and therefore the test is used as supporting test. Result of density is 1.43.
Another study, used as key study, (Michal Bartos, 2011) was performed on Acid Black 210, according to EU method A.3. Result of density at 20°C is 1.286 ( with respect to the density of water at 4°C).
