First-aid measures

GENERAL INFORMATION
In case of accident or if you feel unwell, seek medical advice immediately.

AFTER INHALATION
Supply fresh air, consult doctor in case of complaints.

AFTER SKIN CONTACT
Immediately wash with water and soap and rinse thoroughly. If skin irritation continues, consult a doctor.

AFTER EYE CONTACT
Rinse opened eye for several minutes under running water. Then consult a doctor.

AFTER SWALLOWING
Rinse out mouth and then drink plenty of water. Seek medical treatment.

Fire-fighting measures

EXTINGUISHING MEDIA
Suitable extinguishing media: CO2, powder or water spray. Fight larger fires with water spray or alcohol resistant foam.

SPECIAL HAZARDS ARISING FROM THE SUBSTANCE OR MIXTURE
The product is not combustible. In case of fire, sulphur dioxide (SO2) can be released.

ADVICE FOR FIREFIGHTERS
Do not allow firefighting water to enter drains or water courses. Collect contaminated firefighting water separately.
Special protective equipment for firefighters: Wear self-contained respiratory protective device. Wear fully protective suit.

Exposure controls / personal protection

- General protective and hygienic measures: Keep away from foodstuffs, beverages and feed. Avoid contact with eyes.
- Respiratory protection: Use of respiratory protective device against the effects of fumes/dust/aerosol. Filter P3.
- Protection of hands: Protective gloves
- Material of gloves: The selection of the suitable gloves does not only depend on the material, but also on further marks of quality and varies
- Penetration time of glove material: The exact break through tie has to be found out by the manufacturer of the protective gloves
- For the permanent contact of a maximum of 15 minutes gloves made of Butyl rubber (BR) or Fluorocarbon rubber (Viton) are suitable.
- Eye protection: Tightly sealed goggles.
- Body protection: Protective work clothing.
