First-aid measures

General information: Immediately remove any clothing soiled by the product.After inhalation: Supply fresh air; consult doctor in case of complaints.After skin contact: Immediately wash with water and soap and rinse thoroughly.After eye contact: Rinse opened eye for several minutes under running water. If symptoms persist, consult a doctor.After swallowing: Call for a doctor immediately.

Suitable extinguishing agents: * Water haze* Alcohol resistant foam* Fire-extinguishing powder* Carbon dioxideIn case of fire, the following can be released: Carbon monoxide (CO)Advice for firefighters Protective equipment: * Wear self-contained respiratory protective device.* Chemical resistant protective suit.* Under the protective suit a fire protective suit according to EN 469 should be applied.

Accidental release measures

Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: * Absorb with liquid-binding material (sand, diatomite, acid binders, universal binders, sawdust).* Put damaged containers into recovery drums.Environmental precautions: * No special measures required.* Do not allow to enter sewers/ surface or ground water.* Dilute with plenty of water.* Keep contaminated washing water and dispose of appropriately.

Handling and storage

Precautions for safe handling: * Fill only in dedicated and assigned containers.* Keep containers tightly sealed.Storage Requirements to be met by storerooms and receptacles: Store in a cool location.Corrosion of metals: No corroding action on metals (expert statement).Information about storage in one common storage facility: Store away from oxidising agents.It is recommended not to exceed room temperature (max. 25°C) during storage over a longer period of time.
