The substance decomposed when heated at atmospheric pressure. The preliminary test at atmospheric pressure indicated that decomposition began at ca.80°C. Therefore, an attempt was made to measure the boining point under reduced pressure (2.66 kPa). Decomposition commenced in the range from 50 -70 °C at this pressure.
