Description of key information

At pH 4, 7 and 9 and 50 °C, a degree of < 10% of hydrolysis was observed after 5 days. This corresponds with a half-life time at 25°C of > 1 year; the substance can be considered hydrolytically stable at pH 4, 7 and 9.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Half-life for hydrolysis:
1 yr
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

The rate of hydrolysis of the substance at pH values normally found in the environment (pH 4-9) was determined in a Tier 1 study in accordance with OECD 111 (2004), EU Method C.7 (2008), and according to GLP principles. At pH 4, 7 and 9 and 50 °C, a degree of < 10% of hydrolysis was observed after 5 days. This corresponds with a half-life time at 25°C of > 1 year; the substance can be considered hydrolytically stable at pH 4, 7 and 9.
