Disposal considerations

Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Recovery for recycling is not possible.

Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: Corrosivity may be reduced using a hydrophobic
acidicabsorbent. (A631)

Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Not recommended.

Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Recommended method at a suitable facility using temperatures
in excess of 1200 deg C. Waste gas treatment to
removeoxides of nitrogen should be fitted. (A661)

Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Not recommended.

Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: The substance will enter the public domain at low levels
ingasoline and recovery is not economically feasible.

Public at large - Possibility of neutralisation: Not applicable.

Public at large - Possibility of destruction - others: Dispose of waste as for petroleum products.
