Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Acute toxicity of Test Item was assessed with Acute Immobilisation Test on Daphnia magna, over an exposure period of 48 hours in a semi-static system.

As no toxic effect was observed at the solubility level of the Test Item in the preliminary test, only one test concentration (at 100% saturated solution [based on a 100 mg/L loading rate; the solution is considered to be saturated]) and one Control group were tested in a Limit test in the definitive study.

Test concentrations were determined analytically at the start and at the end of each renewal periods. In the 100% saturated solution concentration was tested. The measured analytical concentration results were all defined as not detected. The biological results are expressed based on this nominal concentration.

Twenty animals, divided into 4 groups (glass beaker) of 5 animals each were used at the test and for the control groups.

Under the conditions of this Daphnia magna acute immobilisation study observed endpoints for the effect of Test Item were the followings:

The 24h, 48h, EC50 value:    > 100% saturated solution

The 48h EC100 value:           > 100% saturated solution

The 48h NOEC:                     100% saturated solution

The 48h LOEC:                      > 100% saturated solution

Based on the results of this study, the Test Item had no toxic effect at saturation on the Daphnia therefore; the EC50 and the LOEC results are higher than the solubility level of the Test Item in the test medium.
