Description of key information

The surface tension of an aqueous preparation of the test item (ß=1 g/I) at 20 °C was found to be 72 mN/m. The test item was not surface active.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Surface tension:

Additional information

A GLP study was conducted in accordance with the OECD Guideline for the Testing of Chemicals. 15 „Surface Tension of Aqueous Solutions" using the force which is required to withdraw a vertically suspended plate from the surface of the solution. The GLP study determined the surface tension of an aqueous preparation of the test item (1000 mg/l) at 20 °C to be 72 mN/m. The test item was not surface active.
