Description of key information

In accordance with Section 1 of Annex XI further information on the degradation of the test material in surface water required in Section 9.2.1.2 does not appear scientifically necessary. The substance has relatively low solubility in water and its log Pow indicates that the substance is unlikely to fulfil the PBT or vPvB criteria.  As such the risk assessment performed concludes that the substance is of no immediate concern to the environment.

In accordance with Section 1 of Annex XI further information on the degradation of the test material in sediment required in Section 9.2.1.4 does not appear scientifically necessary. Direct exposure of sediment will not occur from the use of this substance and indirect exposure will be low. Furthermore the substance has relatively low solubility in water and its log Pow indicates that the substance is unlikely to fulfil the PBT or vPvB criteria. As such the risk assessment performed concludes that the substance is of no immediate concern to the environment.
