The flammability of the test material was determined in accordance with the standardised guideline EU Method A.10 under GLP conditions using a test mould and an ignition source. The study was awarded a reliability score of 1 in accordance with the criteria set forth by Klimisch et al. (1997).
The test material melted and ignited when in contact with the ignition source, but sustained a flame only briefly (2 seconds) when the burner flame was removed. There was no propagation along the test pile. No further testing was necessary.

Supoprting data is provided in which the dust explosion risk and thermal instability of the test material were investigated. The study was awarded a reliability score of 2 in accordance with the criteria set forth by Klimisch et al. (1997).
The dust explosion risk was evaluated to determine if the powder requires designation as category A or B. Furthermore, the thermal instability of the test material was investigated in an isothermal storage test and an air over layer test at 50 °C for 24 hours.
The test material dust explosion risk was determined to be in group A (flammable). Additionally, the results indicate that no exothermic decomposition will occur at a drying temperature of 40 °C for a storage period of up to 12 hours for 1 tonne or less and that no exothermic decomposition will occur in powder layers up to 15 mm thickness at a drying temperature of 40 °C over a 12 hour storage period.
Pyrophoricity
In accordance with Section 1 of REACH Annex XI, the study does not need to be performed as based on chemical structure and experience in use pyrophoricity is not to be expected and hence testing does not appear scientifically necessary.

Justification for classification or non-classification
In accordance with the criteria for classification as defined in Annex I, Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008, the substance does not require classification with respect to flammability.
