Description of key information

The dissociation constant of the substance is affected by its constitutent Tetrabrombisphenol A (CAS 79-94-7). The pKa1 of Tetrabrombisphenol A is in the range of 6.33 to 7.05. Two other constituents do not contain any chemical moiety being capable to dissociate.

Additional information

As the determination of a dissociation constant for a UVCB substance might be hampered due to the complex nature of the substance, the dissociating properties can be described on the basis of pKa values of known constituents as well.

Therefore, the pKa values of Tetrabrombisphenol A, being constituent with dissociating properties, were reported as representatives for the whole substance. Two other constituents do not contain any chemical moiety being capable to dissociate. Therefore, no pKa value can be reported for that constituent.
