Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The mean particle diameter of the particles (63 - 500 µm) with and without fine dust was 194 and 202 µm, respectively.

Additional information

The particle size distribution of(3 -Ammonio-4 -methoxyphenyl)(2 -hydroxyethyl) ammonium sulphate was determined following guideline CIPAC Handbook Volume F, MT 59 (1995) by sieve analysis method and the GLP.

The sieve analysis was carried out in the dry sieving technique using analytical sieves with the mesh width 63, 90, 125, 150, 250, 355 and 500 µm.

Particle size fraction below 63 µm was removed by preliminary sieving with the 63 µm sieve. The amount of fine dust (<63µm) was determined to be 5.47% of the applied mass. The test was run in single replicate at a temperature range of 19 to 21°C.

The mean particle diameter of the particles (63 - 500 µm) with and without fine dust was 194 and 202 µm, respectively.
