Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Algae

ErC50 (72 h) = 20.6 mg/L (geometric mean measured, OECD 201, P. subcapitata)

Aquatic chronic toxicity

Algae

ErC10 (72 h) = 9.40 mg/L (geometric mean measured, OECD 201, P. subcapitata)

Conclusion on Classification

Aquatic invertebrates were the most sensitive trophic level with an EC50 (48 h) of 6.3 mg/L. Since the substance is readily biodegradable and shows no potential for bioaccumulation, it is not classified and labelled for environmental hazards according to 7th ATP of Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 based on the available data.
