Description of key information

An acute toxicity study of the test substance was conducted with earthworm (Eisenia fetida) according to OECD 207 (1984) over 14 days. After 14 days the NOEC was determined to be 75 mg/kg dry soil and the LC50 was determined to be 130.6 mg/kg dry soil.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Short-term EC50 or LC50 for soil macroorganisms:
130.6 mg/kg soil dw
Long-term EC10, LC10 or NOEC for soil macroorganisms:
75 mg/kg soil dw

Additional information

An acute toxicity study of the test substance was conducted with earthworm (Eisenia fetida) according to OECD 207 (1984) over 14 days.According to the preliminary test results, the nominal concentrations of the test substance were 75, 99, 130.6, 172.3, 227.4 and 300 mg/kg dry soil. No concentrations of the test substance were measured. A blank control and the same solvent control were used. After 14 days the NOEC was determined to be 75 mg/kg dry soil and the LC50 was determined to be 130.6 mg/kg dry soil.
