Description of key information

Key study. OECD method 102 "capillary method" (in conformity with EU method A.1., "melting temperature devices with metal block"). GLP study. Melting point = 207.1-207.3 °C (1011.3 hPa). Decomposition temperature > 206.5ºC.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Melting / freezing point at 101 325 Pa:
207.1 °C

Additional information

Key study:

The determination of the melting point was carried out in accordance with OECD Method 102 "capillary method" (which is in conformity with the EU method A..1 “Melting temperature devices with metal block”) and following the GLP.

The melting point with the decomposition of the substance was observed in the temperature range 207.1-207.3 °C under atmospheric pressure of 1011.3 hPa. The beginning of the decomposition was observed at 206.5 °C.
