Acute toxicity:

Algae are the most sensitive species to the toxic effects of ureido methacrylate with an acute EC50 of 719 mg/L. Based on the results obtained in the aquatic toxicity studies, ureido methacrylate has not to be classified according to Directive 67/548/EEC (DSD) and Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP/GHS).

Chronic toxicity:

Algae are the most sensitive species to the toxic effects of ureido methacrylate with an acute EC50 of 719 mg/L. Classification is based on acute tests as no long term tests are available. based on these results, ureido methacrylate is not classified regarding chronic toxicity according to Directive 67/548/EEC (DSD) and Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP/GHS).
