Additional information

A study was conducted according to Abel-Pensky. The flash point of trimethylenediamine was determined to be 51°C at atmosphere pressure. Several reliable literature sources reported the flash point of trimethylenediamine to be between 48,9 °C and 51°C. The value from the study was chosen as the most reliable one for the trimethylenediamine.

The following classification criteria are met:

R10 (flammable) of EU Directive 67/548/EEC: flash point >= 21 °C and <= 55 °C;

Flammable liquids, Category 3 (flammable liquids and vapour) of EU CLP: flash point >= 23 °C and <= 60 °C
